In our eyes, and in our kids' eyes, uncles truly rock. Thank you uncles everywhere, for being such important members of our family, for loving our kids, for helping to take care of them and for teaching our children so many things. Growing up just like every other little girl I sat in awe as I accompanied my parents to family functions and weddings. Fast forward some 15 years or so and now every weekend there are dozens of weddings occurring simultaneously at various temples in the metro-Vancouver area. When he started playing, I asked him to get off the computer and get outside. All parents do this, but few of us take the time to truly understand what it is our kids are really doing on that computer. Well my son, now 10, has taught me a huge lesson.
In an age where The Big F (ah, that's Fun) is seemingly being siphoned out of sports by avarice and idiocy and egos, it's nice to hear the down-home story of the Hembry and Babbitt boys of Emerson, Iowa (population 430), young (and not-so-young) men determined to put The Big F back into sport.

My program consisted of 56 total Shads and we lived in residence at the university.
