Intersecting art, activism + media
Allie's work lies at the intersection of art, activism & media. At 21, she moved to Cambodia; at 24, she started a social enterprise, The Pari Project, which provided an array of fundraising, marketing and organizational development services to over 50 grassroots NGOs spanning Asia and Africa. At its peak, Pari supported a team of 16. In the latter 4 years of her time in Phnom Penh, she produced 3 TEDx events, which collectively hosted 4000 people and over 40 speakers. At 28, she returned to NYC, where she launched a career in social issue media; in addition to co-founding Gender Proud, a movement to elevate the conversation about transgender equality, Allie is also currently producing 3 documentary films.
