Anthony E. Munroe

President, Malcolm X College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago

Dr. Anthony Munroe is a nationally recognized executive with nearly 25 years of experience leading urban healthcare and health education institutions. Most recently, Dr. Munroe served as Executive Administrator of the Ross University School of Medicine Bahamas Campus and as an Associate Vice President at Ross University School of Medicine (NJ).

Previously, he served as President of Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago, a full-service community-focused hospital with a staff of 1,000 full-time employees.

Dr. Munroe earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Masters of Public Health and Doctorate of Education from Columbia University. He was a non-traditional, adult student who worked full-time while pursuing his college education.
