Arlene Brens is an attorney at the Social Security Administration in the Washington, D.C. metro area. She graduated from Syracuse University and earned her JD from Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington. She previously worked at the National Women’s Law Center as a Georgetown Women's Law and Public Policy Fellow, clerked for a U.S. Federal District Judge, and practiced Labor and Employment Law at Thompson Hine. She is the co-author of Bloggers in the Workplace: An Employer’s Rights, Risks and Responsibilities, which was published in the December 2006 edition of WorldatWork Journal.
