Education and credentials: As the child of a career naval officer, I experienced about 11 public schools from kindergarten through high school); B.A. in Political Science, Wellesley College,1959; M.A. in International Relations, American University (School of International Service)1967), and Certificate of Naval Warfare from Naval War College (1-year program, 1970). Retired Commander, U.S. Navy.

Professional/Career Experience. Served twenty
one years as a naval officer, including three intelligence tours and commanding officer. Entrepreneur for four years. Taught Political Science at undergraduate colleges and universities for six years. Author and publisher, My Navy Too, a creative memoir, Cedar Hollow

Relevant experience. Activist and writer. Served
on several boards, including Service Members Legal Defense Network; Member, Forum on Military Chaplaincies; Editor, We Are Family Too, 2010. Essayist, Coming Out in Faith: UU LGBTQ

Religious History. Raised in Protestant Navy chapels and later Episcopalian. Unitarian Universalist since 1995. Participated actively at Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Ashland, OR, including Past President; Past
Chair, Endowment; Past Chair, Council of Ministries; and, many other positions.
