Carlos Harrison is an award-winning journalist, editor and writer of 15 books in English and Spanish, including The Ghosts of Hero Street: How One Small Mexican-American Community Gave So Much in World War II and Korea. He also worked in television, most recently as a national and international correspondent for the Fox News Channel. Born in Panama, he has covered local, national and international events from Miami for more than 20 years, and in New York as the deputy managing editor of People en Español.
