Author, 'Fleeing Herod: A Journey through Coptic Egypt with the Holy Family'
James Cowan is the author of "Fleeing Herod: A Journey through Coptic Egypt with the Holy Family" (Paraclete Press) and many other books. He is best known for "A Mapmaker’s Dream," which was translated into several languages and published all over the world. Cowan was awarded the ALS Gold Medal for Literature in 1998. Currently he lives in Byron Bay, Australia.
