Jordan Hartzell is a high school senior from rural Pennsylvania. An avid reader and science-lover, she has always been passionate about learning and writing. Jordan is president of her class and runs a blog, “It’s All Relative,” through which she shares lectures, articles, and musings on physics and mathematics. She founded and organized the PA Young Women in Physics Conference to educate teens about gender bias in local scientific communities and provide students with positive female role models in the field. She plans to study physics at the undergraduate level and pursue a career in academia.
