Margareta Matache (Magda) is a Romani scholar and activist from Romania. In 2012 she was awarded a Hauser postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard FXB Center for Health and Human Rights, where currently she works as an instructor. She is the co-editor of Realizing Roma Rights (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2017). Her work has also appeared in journals such as the Human Rights Quarterly or the European Review.
