Oren Moverman
Academy Award nominated filmmaker
Born and raised in Israel, Oren Moverman is a New York City based filmmaker best known for THE MESSENGER, which he co-wrote and directed, and for which he received an Academy Award ® Nomination for Best Writing, Original Screenplay. He most recently directed RAMPART from a script he co-wrote with acclaimed novelist James Ellroy (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL). RAMPART stars Woody Harrelson, Robin Wright, Sigourney Weaver, Anne Heche, Cynthia Nixon, Ben Foster, Ice Cube, and Steve Buscemi. It opens in theaters February 10.
