L. Thomas Bell is a disabled veteran with a background in business, politics, and entertainment. He was the Arizona state campaign coordinator for John Anderson in the 1980 presidential election. For several years in the 70's, he worked as a disc jockey for famed country music star Buck Owens. Mr. Bell was also a successful real estate agent, broker and developer in Phoenix. After a boating accident while in the Coast Guard, he developed arthritis in his neck and was rated as 100% disabled by the Veterans Administration in 2002. He now spends his time between his home state of New Mexico and Texas working on healthcare issues.
