Yanna Darilis has been in the Greek media industry for over 20 years having worked on major Greek television channels (Antenna, Star, ERT World) as an on camera talent, executive producer, writer and director. She is the one of the founders and President of the Greek American-Canadian Television Channel and news portal New Greek Television, which focuses on the preservation of Hellenism abroad.   Highlights of Yanna’s career include news-casting for one of Greece’s first English language news broadcasts on Antenna television, on air talent, creator and executive producer for Greece’s first English language magazine show “Hellenic Weekly” for National Greek Television, ERT-WORLD, Master of Ceremonies for the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Athens 2014 Olympic Games, on air talent and segment producer for NBC’s TODAY Show during the Olympic Coverage, on air talent and segment producer for E Entertainment’s feature on Greece on hosted by Tara Reid and Paris Hilton, writing the first exercise & nutrition book for Greece, “Love your Body” published by Patakis. TV Host of PBS Series “Mediterranean Blu”. Yanna’s extensive career includes hosting, writing and directing over 85 travel and cooking features on Greece, and her know how on the Greek community of the Diaspora. Yanna is dedicated to the promotion of Hellenism abroad and shares her travel experience on her blog for the Huffington post. Yanna’s strengths extend to marketing, advertising and public relations strategies. Yanna is the co-executive director of the non-for profit foundation, The Prometheus Project. This foundation was realized along with her co-founders after addressing the need to continue developing informational programming about Greece to Philhellenes and new generation Greeks abroad with the goal of promotion and preservation of Hellenism.
