Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver Are 'Having A Great Relationship,' Actor Says

Getting Back Together?

Are Arnold Schwarzenegger and estranged wife Maria Shriver on the road to reconciliation?

"We're having a great relationship," Schwarzenegger told Extra's Jerry Penacoli at the premiere of his new movie "The Last Stand." "That's all I can tell you.”

On the red carpet, the former California governor had nothing but nice things to say about his family -- including Shriver.

“I'm very proud of [my kids]," he said. "They are great kids and great athletes and very smart in school, so I'm very proud, but that's also because they have a great mother who is on top of the situation.”

Shriver filed for divorce from Schwarzenegger in July 2011 on the heels of his admission that he had fathered a love child with former housekeeper Mildred Baena. Since then, rumors of the couple's reconciliation have surfaced on several occasions.

While on his "Total Recall" book tour in October 2012, the "Terminator" star told Fox News' Sean Hannity, "I'm the forever optimist. So I do see that Maria and I get together eventually."
