Santi Cazorla fired Arsenal back to the top of the Premier League table with a second-half brace against Fulham on Saturday at the Emirates. The two goals came in quick succession in the second half and were the only scores in the Gunners' 2-0 triumph.
"When you play in your opponents’ half, in the final third, he is one of the players who can create something special, either through his passing or through his finishing," Arsenal manager said after the victory. "He is two-footed, and that makes him vey dangerous."
The first goal came in 58th minute and capped a passing sequence involving Jack Wilshere, Olivier Giroud and Nacho Monreal. Cazorla ran onto the final pass from Wilshire near the penalty spot and lashed a first-touch shot past Fulham goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg with his right foot. Just five minutes later, he doubled the home side's advantage with a low left-footed blast from 25 yards that eluded Stekelenburg.
