Come See a <em>Killer at Large</em> in New York

I've spent the last couple of years working on a documentary about the American obesity epidemic and it's finally time to pull the sheet off of the sculpture, as it were.

We're having our premiere next week in New York and I wanted to invite the readers of the Huffington Post to come see Killer at Large. We're playing on Friday, November 21st at The Times Center at 6:30 pm. It's going to be a great, red-carpet sort of night and we're going to be honoring Chevy Chase and his wife (yes, that Chevy Chase) for their work in children's health issues, particularly childhood obesity.

Killer at Large examines the rapidly increasing level of American obesity from a public health and policy perspective, and we hope it will blow your hair back. We were able to talk to just about everybody from Michael Pollan (The Omnivore's Dilemma) and Marion Nestle (Food Politics) to Ralph Nader and film director Neil LaBute. Even Senator Tom Harkin plays a prevalent role.

Now that you're pumped up about it, if you're going to be in New York, you need to come and watch it with those of us who made it. Some experts from the film will be in attendance and participating in a panel discussion with the director and myself. The best part is, this is the last chance you'll have to see it until early next year when it hits a theatrical run and comes out on DVD from The Disinformation Company.
