Cressida Bonas strikes us as a city girl (these photos of her grabbing coffee-to-go in a pair of skinny pants and wedge sneakers say it all). But the 24-year-old blonde is going to have to ditch the expensive threads over Christmas to impress her boyfriend's family: Sources say Cressie has been invited to Sandringham.
Sandringham, of course, is Queen Elizabeth II's country retreat where she spends the Christmas holiday every year. The actual Christmas Day festivities are strict royal-only affairs (which means no Middletons allowed). But Adam Helliker of the Express reports that Cressida, Prince Harry's girlfriend of about a year, has been invited to join the traditional Boxing Day shoot, held the day after Christmas Day.
The Express notes that it won't be Cressie's first visit to Sandringham (she's come for two other shoots), but it's certainly her first with the queen being present. The reported invite comes after weeks of engagement chatter, with more and more rumors that Harry and Cressie are getting serious enough for a possible engagement in 2014.
That might be unlikely, especially given Cressida's reported hesitance to jump into the chaos that is royal life. But a holiday invite to Sandringham is an unequivocal sign that things are serious between the prince and his girlfriend. Plus it will give Cressie a chance to bond with her potential nephew, Georgie. And we already know she's got babies on the brain...
