David Letterman And Billy Eichner Confused A Lot Of New Yorkers

"Two comedy legends coming through!"

David Letterman and Billy Eichner hit the streets of New York recently to ask people what the "Late Show" host's next move should be after he retires. And if you answered, "Yelling at a bunch of confused people," you'd be right!

The sketch had a lot of patented Eichner screaming, one woman who thought Letterman hosted "The Tonight Show" and plenty of people who didn't know what was going on. There weren't many answers about Letterman's next move, but we did learn to stay off phones whenever Letterman and Eichner are around.

C'mon, people! He invented top-10 lists!

"The Late Show with David Letterman" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS.
