Dana White Says A Ronda Rousey-Holly Holm Rematch Will Happen

UFC fans rejoice!

Today's a good day for mixed martial arts fans.

UFC president Dana White said on ESPN's "Mike & Mike" radio show Thursday morning that a much-anticipated rematch between Holly Holm and Ronda Rousey will take place.

"The fight's gonna happen. I don't know when, but that's the fight that will happen," White said.

Holm's knockout of the heavily favored Rousey at UFC193 in November sent shockwaves throughout the sport. Days after the match, UFC announced that Rousey was issued a medical suspension and would not be able to compete for six months.

Rousey went undefeated with nine submissions and three TKOs before losing her bantamweight title to Holm. The 34-year-old Holm will be putting her undefeated record on the line when they do meet for their rematch.

If it was anywhere as entertaining as the first match, then it should be quite the doozy.
