Isabella Blow Auction CALLED OFF, Daphne Guinness Buys Entire Collection

The Isabella Blow auction--set to take place at Christie's on September 15--has been called off...because Daphne Guinness bought the whole lot.

W Magazine reported that an anonymous private buyer had purchased the entire collection, containing 90 outfits and 28 photographs. But the New York Times had the inside scoop that Guinness had shelled out to have it all.

Guinness told the Times, "It's Issy--it's her DNA--it should not be scattered to the four winds. I want it to remain as a monument."
