Joan Rivers' House In Connecticut Is More Subdued Than We'd Imagine (PHOTOS)

We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than by taking a peek into her home.

Not a day goes by without Joan Rivers making a witty (and arguably accurate) quip about Hollywood's most glamorous celebs. But today the spotlight turns to her, since fashion's chief of police celebrates her 80th birthday. And to mark the occasion (cocktail in hand, of course,) we're taking a tour of her posh house in New Milford, Connecticut.

The entire estate encompasses nearly 76 acres of land -- 5,730 square feet of which are occupied by her house. Traces of Victorian-esque decor (such as the pink canopy bed) flow through the home's four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The grounds also feature a swimming pool, a barn and a guest house. According to Realtor.com, the country residence has been on and off the market since 2009 and has a current asking price of $4.9 million.

Of course, in true diva fashion, the comedienne also maintained a second home located in the Big Apple's Lenox Hill neighborhood. According to Street Easy, her extravagant penthouse in Manhattan, which she listed for a whopping $29.5 million last year, was allegedly sold only a few days ago. If that's the case, then Rivers has much to be merry about.

Take a moment to experience the comforts of Rivers' Connecticut home by flipping through our slideshow below. And if you can't get enough of the gal, be sure to watch the video above of her moving out while filming reality show 'Joan & Melissa.'
