Actor Kate Beckinsale and host Jimmy Kimmel went off on a Donald Trump jag Monday about how the host loves to spank the president. That sparked theories over the identity of “Bubba” in the Jeffrey Epstein emails and a debate over what exactly “blowing” means.
The British star, who was promoting her new movie “Wildcat” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” got catty after host Kimmel made an off-key overture to massage her sore knee.
“Since you’ve been spanking Trump, you might as well rub my knee,” she said.
“He likes to be spanked,” Kimmel remarked.
“Well, are you Bubba?” Beckinsale asked, referring to the name mentioned in a 2018 email in which Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, wrote to his sibling, “Ask him if Putin has the photos of Trump blowing Bubba.”
The “Underworld” star said she’s on a “huge mission to find out” who Bubba is, so Kimmel asked for her guess.
“I think it’s the horse,” Beckinsale said, leaning on an actual rumor.
Kimmel surmised it was some rich golfer who meant it as a “kissing his ass kind of thing.”
Watching Beckinsale nod no, Kimmel countered, “You don’t think so?”
“I think blowing means blowing,” Beckinsale replied to laughter.
Fast-forward to the one-minute mark for the Trump tangent:
Kimmel remains a devoted nemesis of Trump even after apparent pressure from the president’s FCC prompted Disney to yank “Jimmy Kimmel Live” off the air temporarily in September.
Having a guest who’s not a politician or in the media join in on the roasting ― even if unintentional ― will perhaps catch the president’s attention.
