'Grey's Anatomy' Alum Heads To 'Last Man Standing' And More Casting News

Which 'Grey's Anatomy' Doctor Is Checking In To 'Last Man Standing'?

ABC's "Last Man Standing" will look a little different come fall, as new showrunner Tim Doyle has opted to recast several prominent roles. According to EW, "Grey's Anatomy" actress Amanda Fuller will replace Alexandra Krosney as Kristin, the eldest daughter of Mike Baxter (Tim Allen).

The show is also aging up Kristin's son Boyd, who was previously played by toddlers Luke and Evan Kruntchev. EW reports that newcomer Flynn Morrison will play a 5-year-old version of Boyd in Season 2. The comedy is also looking to recast Boyd's father, who was portrayed by Nick Jonas last season. The pop star recently confirmed that he was in contention for an "American Idol" judging position, which we're guessing would leave him unavailable for recurring scripted work.
