Madrid, España (Notimex).- La competencia número 83 de la Liga Española de Futbol comienza con una nueva disputa entre los dos “grandes”, el Barcelona y el Real Madrid, por alcanzar el codiciado título.
Este nuevo torneo da comienzo con escasos fichajes de relevancia y con muchos clubes en apuros económicos.
El vigente campeón, el Real Madrid, equipo con más trofeos (32), querrá revalidar su corona nacional frente al Barcelona del estelar Lionel Messi.
Nada hace prever que este año el título no vaya a parar a Barcelona o Madrid, (campeones de los últimos ocho años, con cinco y tres títulos respectivamente), ya que aunque los dos no incorporaron novedades, mantienen el bloque y la base de sus equipos.
Los madrileños, que aún no ficharon a nadie, esperan cerrar la contratación del croata Luka Modric, centrocampista del Tottenham inglés, en los próximos días.
Por su parte, los catalanes incorporaron al lateral izquierdo Jordi Alba, procedente del Valencia, y suena como posible fichaje Alexandre Song, volante del Arsenal británico.
Los capitalinos, con José Mourinho a frente y liderados en el césped por Cristiano Ronaldo, ansían dar un paso al frente y conquistar la Champions League y coronarse como campeón europeo.
Éste, es un título que se resiste, ya que desde la llegada del técnico portugués, “los merengues” conquistaron en su primer año la Copa del Rey, y el año pasado, la Liga española.
Por tanto, Mourinho, en su tercera campaña, espera devolver el título continental a las vitrinas madridistas, después de dos semifinales consecutivas y 10 años del último.
En Cataluña, el Barcelona, con nuevo entrenador, Tito Vilanova, ayudante de Pep Guardiola, que dejó el año pasado el banquillo “culé” tras conquistar innumerables títulos (dos Champions League y tres ligas entre otros), espera seguir con los éxitos que logró como asistente.
El equipo barcelonés intentará conquistar un nuevo título liguero y repetir el buen papel cosechado en la Copa del Rey en el anterior curso (campeón) y en la máxima competición europea (semifinalista).
Otros conjuntos como el Atlético de Madrid, Valencia, Málaga, Athletic de Bilbao o Sevilla intentarán hacer frente todo lo posible a los dos colosos y conquistar posiciones europeas en la tabla, que les darán importantes beneficios económicos.
Los valencianos, con el argentino Mauricio Pellegrino como nuevo técnico, querrán repetir el tercer puesto del curso anterior con las incorporaciones del argentino Fernando Gago y el mexicano Andrés Guardado.
El Málaga, que perdió a su estrella Santiago Cazorla, y con dudas sobre su estabilidad económica, luchará por conquistar el exitoso puesto alcanzado en la temporada 2011-12 (cuarto).
Bilbao vive con incertidumbre la más que posible marcha de sus estrellas, Javi Martínez y Fernando Llorente, lo que dejaría un equipo ausente de líderes y el Atlético de Madrid del argentino Diego Pablo “Cholo” Simeone, querrá consolidarse como equipo alternativo a los “grandes”.
El Sevilla querrá meterse a competiciones europeas con los internacionales españoles Jesús Navas y Álvaro Negredo y el Levante, conjunto veterano y de gran sacrificio defensivo, buscará repetir el puesto cosechado el año anterior (sexto).
Equipos de la “clase media” como Betis, Osasuna, Mallorca y Getafe intentarán dar alguna sorpresa y no sufrir para no acercarse a puestos de descenso.
Otros como la Real Sociedad, el Rayo Vallecano, Granada, Zaragoza, o los recién ascendidos, Deportivo de La Coruña, Celta de Vigo o Valladolid intentarán salvar la categoría y no bajar a la segunda división del balompié ibérico.
Mañana sábado, la primera jornada abrirá con el Celta-Málaga, y acabará el lunes con el Real Zaragoza-Valladolid.
El Real Madrid abrirá el domingo la nueva temporada en su estadio, el Santiago Bernabéu, frente al Valencia, mientras el Barcelona se medirá el mismo día contra la Real Sociedad de San Sebastián.
Otros partidos de interés para esta primera fecha son el Levante-Atlético de Madrid y el Athletic de Bilbao-Betis.
