On Monday, San Francisco's own Danny Bowein of Mission Chinese Food went national on The Martha Stewart Show and we couldn't be more excited.
In the video, Martha introduced Mission Chinese (though sadly, as SFist pointed out, never mentioned the restaurant's name) as a "wildly popular San Francisco Szechuan restaurant that has received national acclaim" and called Bowein a "young, talented chef." Bowein then taught Martha and the audience how to make his beloved hand-pulled noodles.
Highlights of the video include Martha literally slapping noodles at Bowein's command, as well as Bowein's extremely reserved pink collared shirt and green pants combo -- quite a departure from his usual attire.
