Models Breastfeeding? Model Mommies Talk (PHOTOS)

Models speak out about their exercise routines and their diet regimens... so why not their post-pregnancy habits?

Miranda Kerr is just the latest model to chat freely about her breastfeeding, telling the New York Post, "It's milking time... I'm still breast-feeding. I'm pumping, and it's going well."

Which makes Miranda similar to several other high-profile model peers. Gisele Bundchen made headlines last year when the new mother told Harper's Bazaar UK:

"Some people here [in the U.S.] think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'"

She added, "I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months."

Under media pressure she backpedaled on the "worldwide law" part, but she did put a controversial subject on the map: should women -- or must women -- breastfeed their newborns? And is it OK to do in order to lose weight?

While there is plenty of debate, one trend is clear: it's the thing to do for many models. Another Brazilian model Adriana Lima told The Huffington Post, "I did breastfeed, but for me it did not make me lose weight. Every woman is different....so just stick with your beliefs and as long as you try your best, that's what matters."
