Who killed Rosie Larson? Netflix may not have the answer, but they'll stream "The Killing" for you.
The series was officially un-canceled and a third season is headed to AMC. Only three months after the finale, Netflix will stream all 12 episodes.
"We're excited to see 'The Killing' back on TV and we're especially proud to bring Season 3 to our members so soon after it premieres on AMC," chief content officer of Netflix Ted Sarandos said in a statement. "'The Killing' is a terrific serialized drama and we know our members love these high-quality shows."
Season 3 of "The Kiling" will take place a year after Sarah Linden (Enos) closed the Rosie Larsen case. She's no longer a detective, but her ex-partner Stephen Holder's (Kinnaman) draws her back in when he enlists her help on a murder case.
"'The Killing' from day one has been a truly original take on the crime drama. Veena Sud and the rest of the talented creative team are hard at work shaping the lives of Linden and Holder, portrayed by the terrific Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman," Charlie Collier, AMC's president, said in a statement. "We're so pleased to welcome back 'The Killing' for another season."
Season 3 of "The Killing" will be 12 episodes and began production last month.
