Students at the Parsons School of Fashion are camping out today and tomorrow in the Louis Vuitton store in New York's Soho. They have gathered waste from the production of the brand's apparel and have taken over areas of the store to work on the fabrics to make elaborate panels for a party at the store.

Simon Collins, Dean of Fashion, at Parsons told PSFK when we visited:
We continue to explore how we can reduce the impact of the fashion industry. Our project work in zero-waste means that several large companies have now turned to us for advice about sustainable practices.
