SNEAK PEEK: 'Preachers Of L.A.' Season Two

After displaying their blessed lives on television last year, Oxygen’s “Preachers of L.A.” are returning to the pulpit for another season premiering August 20 at 10PM ET.

And as expected, the network’s most watched series will reunite the six Southern California mega-pastors consisting of Bishop Noel Jones, Minister Deitrick Haddon, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Pastor Jay Haizlip, Pastor Wayne Chaney and Bishop Ron Gibson as they navigate through their respective ministries, family relationships, and self-discovery among other things.

According to a press release, the original series was rated as the Top 10 most social cable reality program in October and November 2013, which has been credited to each pastor’s personal “journey in life.”

“‘Preachers of L.A’ is powerful, impactful and touches viewers’ spirit,” said Oxygen Media Senior Vice President of Original Programming and Development, Rod Aissa. “These six men of God and the amazing women alongside them are brave and transparent about their journey in life, which is why it resonates so well with Oxygen’s young, female audience.”

As an added bonus, Grammy Award-winning singer (and mentor of Oxygen’s new music-driven series “Fix My Choir”) and Destiny’s Child member, Michelle Williams will kick of the show’s second season on July 23 at 10PM ET with a two part special featuring each cast member reflecting back on the various trials and triumphs that made season one a success.
