Rickey Hendon Campaign Commercial: Illinois Senator's Hilarious Radio Ad (VIDEO)

Illinois State Senator Rickey Hendon, who is running for Illinois lieutenant governor, has a rather interesting campaign ad running on local radio stations.

Hendon is one of six state democrats vying for the lieutenant governor position, so perhaps he was trying to stand out with his latest radio ad.

We are still trying to translate the ad (the audio is not ideal) but it features people talking about all the good things Senator Hendon has done at a party. While one guest complains about needing to pay her meter (and carry an excessive amount of quarters) another guest replies, "That's why I took the bus, free rides for seniors...Didn't Rickey Hendon do that for the seniors?"

The ad also mentions property taxes, red light cameras and, perhaps the best part: "Where are all the pretty girls up in here?"

Hendon has always been a creative guy. If you want to see a video montage of the senator in action, you can see it here--to the tune of "Give The People What They Want" by The O'Jays.
