Hey girl, we've got the scoop on Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes' baby name.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the couple named their newborn daughter Esmeralda Amada.
Esmeralda could possibly be a reference to Mendes' character of the same name on the television series "V.I.P." As TMZ also notes, Amada is the name of Mendes' character in the 2007 film "We Own The Night." A source reportedly told E! News that the couple chose the name because it means "beautiful emerald" in Spanish, and they wanted Mendes' Hispanic heritage to be represented in the name.
Gosling, 33, and Mendes, 40, welcomed their baby girl on Sept. 12. The couple, who has been together since September 2011, has yet to comment publicly on Mendes' pregnancy or the birth of their first child together.
