WATCH: Sir Ivan Releases 'La La Land' Video To Support LGBT Community

Recording artist Sir Ivan (aka Ivan Wilzig) recently unleashed his latest dance track, "La La Land," and this one has a special shout out to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

The video for the song opens in black and white before a group of full-color rainbow flags unfurl, which Sir Ivan says is his way of showing support for the LGBT community.

"As the son of a Holocaust survivor, I've always been an activist for peace," he says in press release. "Right now, I'm particularly focused on the needs of the LGBT community -- who seem to have a bum deal at the moment with the debate on equal marriage, homophobic bullying among youth and political systems across the world that are looking to create second-class citizens of this colorful and diverse community. I, for one, will not stand for it and I hope people will follow me in my music to unite against this injustice."

Sir Ivan, who has had other hit singles such as "Hare Krishna," which reached #10 on the Billboard Dance charts in 2011, also starred on the second season of the reality TV show "Who Wants To Be A Superhero," as Mr. Mitzvah. He recently performed "La La Land" at a decadent animal-themed party at his legendary castle, during which he announced he has made a large donation to The Trevor Project, which is dedicated to preventing LGBT youth suicide.
