Skinny Jeans For KIDS Hit Stores (POLL)

Skinny Jeans For KIDS Hit Stores

The ladies over at SheFinds recently came across Old Navy's Super Skinny jeans...for girls. That's right, the chain store is producing trendy denim duds for elementary schoolers. Mom Jeanine writes:

Old Navy is definitely not the first brand to manufacture skinny jeans for little girls, but they very well may be the first to have sewn the words "super skinny" right into the jeans. I get that super skinny references the style of the jeans, but you can't help but wonder what little girls will think every time they slip these jeans on.

But Old Navy isn't the only place that sells skinny jeans for kids. The Gap makes them in various styles, including embellished light wash and saturated dark wash, as The Cut points out. And not only does J. Crew sell "pencil leg jeans" for girls, they also make jeggings. From the product description:

Her new BFF: A new legging that looks like denim but feels like a knit, for hours of über-comfy wear. (They're just like Mom's version, only smaller.) The best part? Those little ankle zippers (they just send us over the edge).

So, what do you think? Do skinny pants for girls send the wrong message? Or should they rock them while they can?
