'Stars Earn Stripes' Premiere: Todd Palin Dubbed 'Rambo' On Controversial Show (VIDEO)

'Stars Earn Stripes' Premiere: Todd Palin Is 'Rambo'

"Stars Earns Stripes" (Mon., 8 p.m. ET on NBC) earned plenty of headlines for the network before it premiered, but not in the way they might have liked. First, Sharon Osbourne said she was quitting "America's Got Talent" because her son Jack Osbourne was booted from the show after he came out with his multiple sclerosis diagnosis.

The network said it was more about the physically demanding stunts.

Then, just one day before its premiere, a group of Nobel Peace Prize winners came out against the show, saying it was glorifying violence as entertainment, while the network says their intention is to glorify service and the men and women of the armed forces.

Of course, for many viewers it will come down to whether or not the show is entertaining. The show pairs celebrities with veterans to learn military maneuvers, all while raising money for charity. But even Sarah Palin's husband Todd being dubbed "Rambo" by some of the veterans wasn't enough to get some critics on board.

"Stars Earn Strips" continues Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
