Working for the Weekend: A Sunday Playlist for Congress

Here is a playlist for our elected officials in Washington who were actually working today -- or at least what passes for working in Congress.

I cannot stand the strained and frequently toxic tone of our politics today. I truly hate that we cannot get together as a nation and fix a shared problem like health care reform without resorting to ugly name-calling and hateful demonization.

On the other hand, I kind of dig the fact that Congress has to work during this really beautiful weekend. So while I kick back and watch "My Old School," Cornell, take part in some other kind of March Madness, I rest assured that many of our elected officials in Washington will actually be working today -- or at least what passes for working in Congress.

Go Big Red. Go America.
