Christopher Carduff first collaborated with John Updike on The Golden West, a collection of Daniel Fuchs’s Hollywood stories (Black Sparrow/Godine, 2005). He joined the staff of The Library of America in 2006, and is editor of the LOA’s two-volume William Maxwell: Novels and Stories (2008). He lives with his wife and teen-aged son in Melrose, Massachusetts.
