Kitty Griffin Lagorio was born in Germany and adopted by an American family. So for most of her young life she thought she was Irish, to which she attributes her passion for good story. A former teacher/counselor she now spends her days as a children’s book author, gardener, and amateur photographer, as well as volunteering at schools and libraries with her Corgi, Coriander-an amazing therapy dog who with her great big ears, is a wonderful listener to children learning to read out loud.
