Marc Boxser

Marc Boxser leads GEMS’s key institutional partnerships as well as overall corporate strategy. Marc joined GEMS Education from the World Economic Forum where he was the head of IT Partnerships, leading the Forum’s community of the leading IT and Telecom companies in addressing key disruptive industry trends. Prior, he led business development and membership for the Forum for the Middle East and Africa, and is a graduate of the Forum’s Global Leadership Fellow Program.



Marc’s career has straddled both education and technology. He was Managing Director of the Education for Employment Foundation before a career in digital media in the United States, including a senior management role at Next New Networks, acquired by Google in 2011. Marc was originally a producer for the Charlie Rose show in the United States and holds undergraduate and Masters degrees from Oxford and Harvard Universities. He is an advisory board member to Hope Street Group in Washington DC. Born in London, he lives in Palo Alto, California with his family.
