Meredith Ludlow

International affairs and Asia specialist

Meredith Ludlow is an international affairs and Asia specialist, and focuses on international expansion for a global design firm.

Previously, she worked for the US Department of Commerce in Shanghai, counseling US companies on Mainland entry, export and expansion strategies, and served on the US Ambassador’s Task Force on Intellectual Property Rights.

Ms. Ludlow also worked in China’s healthcare industry where she helped to establish Shanghai’s first international standard hospital. As a consultant with Ernst & Young in Beijing, she advised China’s Central Bank on the nation’s first distressed debt sale to foreign investors, and she recently served as Vice President for a China investment research firm backed by Goldman Sachs.

Ms. Ludlow is a member of the National Committee on United States-China Relations and the Pacific Council on International Policy, and serves on The Asia Foundation’s President’s Leadership Council and as an advisor to the Foundation’s Women’s Empowerment Program. Ms. Ludlow holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a MA in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts University.
