Reuben Jonathan Miller is an Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago in the School of Social Service Administration and a faculty affiliate at the Center for the Study of Race, Politics and Culture. His research examines life at the intersections of race, criminal justice and urban poverty policy. He is completing a book, titled Halfway Home, based on 15 years of research and practice with currently and formerly incarcerated people.
