Peter Acworth was born in Derbyshire, England, to a sculptor and a Jesuit priest. He studied at Mathematics at Cambridge University, Management at Ecole HEC, Paris and Finance at Columbia Business School before moving to San Francisco in 1998 to start Kink.com.
