ROBERT J. SPITZER (Ph.D. Cornell, 1980) is Distinguished Service Professor and Chair of the Political Science Department at SUNY Cortland. He is the author of 15 books, including five on the presidency and five on gun policy. His most recent book is โGuns across America: Reconciling Gun Rules and Rights,โ updated paper edition published in 2017 by Oxford University Press.
