It's no secret that Adele has experienced heartbreak in her life -- just listen to her 2011 album, "21." But it looks like the British singer's love life is looking up in the new year.
Adele, 23, was photographed hugging and smooching rumored beau Simon Konecki, 36, while in Florida visiting the Everglades National Park. There's nothing more romantic than a trip to see some gators, right?
So who is this new guy who bears a striking resemblance to actor Zach Galifianakis? According to The Sun, Konecki heads up the British-based charity Drop4Drop.
We can only hope that this new romance also means some new tunes are on the way from Adele, who is on the mend after undergoing throat surgery last fall.
But fans might have to wait a while for her next record, unfortunately.
"I imagine I'll be 25 or 26 by the time my next record comes out, as I haven't even thought about my third record yet," she told Billboard last month, adding, "I'll disappear and come back with a record when it's good enough. There will be no new music until it's good enough and until I'm ready."
Well, Konecki better be on his best behavior around the soul singer, especially considering her penchant for writing songs about her exes.
