Christmas has come early for fans of Rovio's hugely popular 'Angry Birds' gaming application.

The rumored 'Angry Birds' holiday edition, now officially named 'Angry Birds Seasons,' is currently available from iTunes and the Android Marketplace.

"[The new version] consists of 25 daily surprises for fans of 'Angry Birds' to enjoy while counting down the days until Christmas," Rovio representatives told PCMag.

While the Android version of 'Angry Birds Seasons' is available free of charge, the iTunes version sells for $0.99 and includes the app's predecessor, 'Angry Birds Halloween.' According to PCMag, "Users who purchased the iPhone Halloween edition for $0.99 will get a free update to 'Angry Birds Seasons.'" An HD version of the game is also available from iTunes for $1.99.
