Beyoncé, the most-awarded Grammy artist in history, just set a record again when she became the first Black woman to win the Best Country Album Grammy for “Cowboy Carter” at the 67th Grammy Awards.

But her groundbreaking win wasn’t the only thing that stole the show Sunday.

The singer’s shocked reaction after Taylor Swift announced her as the winner quickly went viral on social media.

“Wow, I really was not expecting this,” Beyoncé, 43, said after hitting the stage to accept her award at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. “Wow! I want to thank God. Oh, my God! That I am able to still do what I love after so many years.”

The musician, who leads this year’s ceremony with a whopping 11 nods, continued: “I’d like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this album. We worked so hard on it. I think sometimes genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists and I just want to encourage people to do what they’re passionate about and stay persistent.”

Beyoncé went on to thank her family and all the artists who teamed up with her on the acclaimed album, adding, “Thank you. This wouldn’t have been this album without you.”

“I’d like to thank God again and my fans and I still am in shock,” she added. “So thank you so much for this honor.”

Social media users on X, formerly Twitter, celebrated the star’s big win while having a field day over her hilariously relatable reaction.
