London Mayor Boris Johnson Bodyslams Boy During Rugby Match

“I felt a little bit of pain but it's OK,” the boy said.

London Mayor Boris Johnson tackled a child during an otherwise friendly rugby match in Tokyo on Thursday.

Johnson is in Japan this week for a trade relations trip. Thursday's match was part of a promotion for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

According to the Guardian, 10-year-old Toki Sekiguchi survived the incident.

“I felt a little bit of pain but it's OK,” the boy said, according to Sky News.

Johnson is no stranger to a good tackle. He took down a child during a street football match last October, and in December helped subdue an unruly passenger on a flight from Malaysia.
