HuffPost Deathmatch: The Best Breakfast Food

While we've done some great HuffPost Deathmatches in the past -- the most recent being the Hot Sauce Deathmatch -- we're particulary excited about this breakfast showdown. When it comes down to it, no matter how many elegant meals we eat at multi-starred restaurants, it's hard to beat the foods that show up on the breakfast table.

And we're not talking about cereal and yogurt here, we mean the greasy spoon diner breakfast menu items like hashbrowns, waffles and eggs benedict. While we're a little nervous to see our favorite foods get knocked out of the ring, we're excited to see who will be the winner.

Here's how the Breakfast Food Deathmatch voting will go down:

Round One voting opens today (September 25th) -- vote right now!

Wednesday, September 26th at 12:00am Eastern, Round Two begins.

Thursday, September 27th at 12:00am Eastern, you'll be able to vote in Round Three.

Friday morning, September 28th, we'll announce who keeps their place at the breakfast table.
