CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Sun-Times has named Donald Hayner its new editor in chief.
The 57-year-old Hayner had been the newspaper's managing editor.
The Sun-Times said Wednesday that 48-year-old reporter and editor Andrew Herrmann will be the new managing editor.
Hayner has worked at the Sun-Times for nearly 27 years as a reporter and editor. He replaces Michael Cooke, who resigned earlier this month.
