East Coast Earthquake: Airports Reporting Tarmac Delays

As Jet Blue tweeted: "We've issued a temporary ground stop while we assess the earthquake impact. In the meantime, enjoy that Carole King."

Hopefully passengers at New York's JFK, New Jersey's Newark, Washington D.C.'s Regan National and Philadelphia's International airports are enjoying those smooth folk jams, because an earthquake has forced a ground stop and gate hold at the airports, according to the FAA.

Amtrak also tweeted about disrupted service and speed restrictions between Baltimore and Washington.

The magnitude 5.9 earthquake that hit the East Coast Tuesday afternoon was felt up the coast to Boston. The epicenter was in Mineral, V.a. According to Reuters, trembling was felt as far away as Toronto, Canada.
