WASHINGTON-- A blaze at Anacostia High School has already injured one firefighter.
Students have been evacuated from the school.
Tweets from the local fire station feed indicate that fire spans from the first floor up to the roof.

Pictures from twitter indicate a dark tall plume of smoke. WUSA 9 notes that the fire is visible from miles away.
Currently, local fire officials say that the fire is being reignited by winds along the roof. News of the fire emerged on twitter more than 45 minutes ago.

UPDATED: 3:35 p.m. -- A tweet from D.C. Public Schools confirms the fire has been contained.
