A man was caught attempting to bring a gun onto a plane at Washington, D.C.'s Ronald Reagan National Airport Friday, reports ABC 7.
The West Virginia man was heading to Detroit with the weapon in his carry-on bag.
The gun was confiscated, and he was able to make his flight, reports WTOP. He was charged with a misdemeanor.
According to the TSA, the agency finds four to five guns in carry-on bags at airports every day.
